Roman was never a friend of mine.

He was just a quiet boy, a little younger than me.
He was the son the our family friends. They migrated from Russia to Israel when roman was just a young child.

I don't think that I even exchanged 2 words with him in my whole life. He was just there. A round faces with with big teeth. Kinda cute, but very very shy.
Roman was 19 when he was earning his money as a kitchen worker at a local wedding hall. He was about to be drafted to the Israeli army.

I don’t know how many full moons i've seen since that awful day.

I came back from work. A few minutes after - his stepfather was banging on our door hysterically. I opened the door with a smile on my face as usual. He came in, very confused and saw may mother, a dear friend of his. He couldn't speak. He just sat on the sofa and said to her with a broken voice - "something bad happened to Roman". I can't remember much after that. I just went outside to the garden and looked at the sky with tears in my eyes. The full moon was looking at me And I cried.

While at work, lifting a heavy rice sack and carrying it to the elevator - Roman fell down to the elevator shaft and broke his neck and died.
19 years old, his mother's only child.

Almost four years had passed, and still - a full moon has only one meaning to me. Nothing to do with romance, but everything to do with Roman.

I remember you.

It's amazing that nowdays you can see the world without getting up from your comfy chair. I've seen Rome and Paris and the Chinese wall... I've been to Georgia and California, and anywhere I could run, I've been to paradise, but I ever been to me (OK...kidding!)

So I thought I should show some places on earth where important people live.

This is Ashdod:

This is Raleigh:

And this is the distance between them :-(

It's so hard to live in a non-clayish environment.
No clay fans here. No clay Cd's here. Nothing.
I thank god for this website and you guys
for allowing me the experience of being a part
of a bigger family than I could ever imagine.
Every time i think that i know what there is to know
about being a fan - i discover more stuff that I wasn't aware of.
first there was the cellcert. Even after I heard this word I just
couldn't put two and two together. It took me a while to figure out
that it is a concert-by-cellphone.
yesterday I heard about clayvirsity.
Still don't get that one.
but this sweet, comferting face always makes me feel better

Happy Birthday Clay!!!

Like a candle burning bright
Love is glowing in your eyes
A flame to light our way
That burns brighter everyday
And now we have you
Nobody loves you like we do

What if we'd never known about you?
Where would we be right now?
Funny how life just falls in place somehow
You've touched our hearts in places
that we never even knew
Cause nobody loves you like we do

Thank you Clay!

Thank you for singing "Emmanuel" :-)
It literally made my soul travel out of my body.

W-H-A-T A V-O-I-C-E!!!

It feels like i don't need to listen to any other word ever again. All i want to remember is how your voice caressed these words and melody while making it a masterpiece.

BRAVO x 1,000,000,000

News...

When I heard about the VT tragedy, I immediately thought about Clay. What he must be thinking and what's his thoughts about this massacre.

This thought lead me to think little bit deeper.

Clay goes out of his way (AND country, AND continent) to seek children with needs, to help them and ask the world to help them too. Though some of the news stations aired a little piece about Clay's visit to Afghanistan, it was never a big headline or a story that they air and talk about over and over again.

One psycho went out of his way to kill innocent people, he knew that it will be tomorrow's news and he made sure no one will forget him soon. He videotaped himself blabbing weird stuff, took weird pictures of himself, and made sure that these pictures and video will be sent to a news station.

Now I know it's news. I know people want to know. I know people are interested and are curious. But why in the world should we give power to a madman? Airing his video and pictures was a complete mistake. Describing it would do the job. No need to show the world what is hatred and violence. We know it's there. News stations should minimize to the lowest point possible the amount of publicity the killers get, and instead - focus on the victims. Make them heroes!

When one man is spreading love around the world and is doing good for the society, it's no big news, but when a man is spreading hate and doing bad – that's news for us?

Is it news? Maybe it is, but in a the news world, we are so used to the fact that villains are being elevated to a position of an anti-hero that we so love to analyze, maybe, just maybe, a REAL hero, like Clay and others like him, ARE THE BIG NEWS?

My thoughts and prayers are with the families of VT victims.

OK, so we all know that (most of) this year's AI contestants suck badly. Apparently Clay is not aware of how much (most of ) them are horrid. he refuses to watch the show. One of them sucks so bad, it became monstrous. I'm not even gonna say *its* awful name (I refer to this person as an "it", sorry).

So I thought to myself that next year should be all about Clay. I don't mind Clay competing against himself with 12 different outfits and looks. He always looks different anyways. This time he can't lose…

What is YOUR favorite Clay look? Which Clay would win the Claymerican Idol?

Faye, did you know That your baby boy will one day rule Claynation?

Boy oh boy...
The power of Claymates is like nothing i ever experienced.
Never in my life I've seen such a group of unites and unified people
filled with love and care for the others.
And we're all lead by one person like no other man on earth.
The world needs more people like Clay.
more people that like Clay.
more people like YOU guys.

Earlier i was wondering about the Afghanistan found raising and i thought that the association with Osama Bin Laden might be an obstacle, but I've been proven wrong.
We know that where clay points his finger - there should be an immediate help. And we help.

Reading the boards was so heartwarming. even people without means, searched every way to find money for the found raising. WOW X 100,000!

This is why i think claynation is an army:

The army of lovers!

I'm proud to be a Claynation warier!
Hugs to each and every one of you out there!
